The recent outbreak of the H1N1 virus has focused attention on the importance of proper cleaning procedures as well as product selection. You have the opportunity to assist your customers by providing the needed knowledge to address this worldwide issue. In the United States, the Environmental Protection Division (EPA) has noted that those products currently approved for the "Influenza A" virus will be effective against the currently identified "H1N1 (Swine)" flu strain as well as other "Influenza A" virus strains on non-porous hard surfaces.
The EPA maintains a website that lists approved products that have been shown to be effective against the "Influenza A" virus and would therefore be effective against the "H1N1" virus. PDQ Manufacturing manufactures many formulations that appear on master list. We license those formulations from the original holder and agree to manufacture to their specifications, utilize their approved ingredients, maintain proper control of the label claims and allow for periodic auditing. This process allows us access to the most recently approved formulations and cutting edge technology for the sanitizers and disinfectants.
Below is a list of products that PDQ Manufacturing currently offers that are effective for the current "H1N1" virus. Please check back often as this list may change as we identify additional products that are of critical interest to our customers.
